The Hour of Enoch is Performance Art Poetry Music Theatre. Our style is theatrical yet spontaneous. Songs go where they want to go. In fact, many of these pieces are “one takes”. Our music is born from a wide range of genres, shaped with Conductive Improvisation.
The Hour of Enoch’s influences could be psychedelic rock, art punk, jazz fusion, electronica and tribal drums and machines, apps and scraps…bridging the gaps between an array of soundscapes and poetic “talk-sing”. All of this is strung together with storytelling that borders at times, as a public confession.

“Forming this group, it has been my intention, not to create a rock band per say, but a collective of performers that wear multiple hats in rotating roles. Beyond this, drawing on my background in theatre, I enjoy working in loose boundaries that encourages exploration and improvisation. I’m not seeking perfection nor am I trying to compose a hit song. I’m searching for that feeling. An openness and honesty… to me, that’s the real risk taking needed. It’s almost embarrassing, to put your true self out there. I therefore attempt to get those I work with to move away from their comfort zone.
You will find a concert here back in March 2020 at The Horseshoe Tavern. It was our one and only (thus far!) concert as a full band, with some members moving on to solo projects. Yet the core members remain. There are also a few songs recorded at Kensington Sound featuring VEZI on guitar and bass.
As with all of us, Covid has taken a toll on us. Like many of you, these last 2 years knocked us off track and unfortunately for some, even worse. The last 2 years forced us all to work differently, remotely, etc and I found myself sitting in my van, playing with apps on my iPhone and to my surprise, I developed a new way of writing poetry and getting some vocal ideas down, when my group couldn’t rehearse etc. Some of what you will hear on this site (if not specified otherwise) is what was intended to be snippets of ideas made with NOVATION/LAUNCHPAD/Ableton Live/Reaper/GArageBand…became interesting enough to pursue and showcase. Maybe, The Hour of Enoch, should have a separate album one day called: Covid Music from The Van?
The Hour of Enoch has regrouped and we are back rehearsing and hopefully we will be out of the pit stop and our vehicle will be on the race track with the other speedsters soon enough. In the meantime, I hope you find these experimental pieces worthy of your time as you lend me a chunk of your mind…” – Tim Doucette

THE BOOK OF ENOCH SECTION I.
CHAP. 1.—The words of the blessing of Enoch where-with he blessed the chosen and just, who will exist on the day of tribulation when all the wicked and impious shall be removed. 2. And then answered and spoke Enoch, a just man, whose eyes were opened by God so that he saw a holy vision in the heavens, which the angels showed to me, and from them I heard everything, and I knew what I saw, but not for this generation, but for the far-off generations which are to come.
